Brands against Mulesing
Around the world, fashion brands are stepping up to help end the cruel mutilation of merino lambs.
All brands listed below have highlighted their opposition to mulesing, a painful mutilation practiced solely in Australia on merino lambs. Mulesing is carried out as a quick and cheap way to prevent a condition called flystrike. However, with viable pain-free solutions to flystrike in existence, mulesing is not only unnecessary, it is cruel.
Many of the brands on this list are taking additional steps to help improve transparency within their wool supply chains, and we commend them for doing so. While we’re thrilled with the progress being made, it's vital more brands join this movement, so that together we can end mulesing and achieve a kinder fashion future.
Check out the list below to see if you can find your favorite brand!
If your favorite brand isn’t showing up, or listed on this page, it means we have not yet come across information that confirms that they oppose or actively reject mulesing. If you want more brands to become mulesing-free, please sign our petition.
