Hazel and Diana saw the worst of humanity early in life. These nearly-identical kittens, barely 3 weeks old, were heartlessly thrown into a sack, tied tightly and dumped on the side of the road. Our team and partner organization, Animal Rescue Cambodia, thankfully found the kittens before it was too late.
They were immediately taken to the safety of the clinic where our team could provide round-the-clock care. They were dewormed, vaccinated, and given formula to help them grow stronger. They were extremely weak and suffering from heat exhaustion. At this young age, they should have remained with their mother (at least until about least 6-8 weeks old).
After one week of care at the clinic though, little Hazel and Diana were strong enough to leave with a foster family.
After two months, both kittens were officially adopted by foster family into their forever home!
